If the player, who played guitar for the moment certainly have heard about Paul Reed Smith guitars. They are not so commonly known as the Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, and others, but it is known that among the great guitar, one in particular, Carlos Santana, who uses them for decades.

So what makes the PRS Guitars so great, see humans such as Santana, Al Di Meoloa, Dweezil Zappa and Dave Navarro play?

When PRS Guitars came first in the market, they were hand-made guitars cream of crops which were financially out of reach of most musicians. The price tag was several thousand dollars. This is probably the main reason for Why they are not so popular as other popular brands in the mainstream marketplace. However, now that they are becoming affordable for the average musician, more of the check boxes they learn what makes Paul Reed Smith guitars so great. And really are great.

Sustain
The biggest thing that makes sure that the PRS Guitars such fantastic and distinctinve instrumnet same which has Santana play, so many years: KEEP! Carlos Santana is the King of sustain. He is known for having a single note to several minutes in his concerts. Guitar Paul Reed Smith helps him to do so.

Paul Reed Smith builds guitars intentionally provide them more sustain. Of course, Smith is the sum of all its parts, but mahogany back is what makes the most difference. It allows more resonance than other Woods, commonly used in guitars. Mahogany back, works in conjunction with mountain Maple, in order to make the guitar strings, which virtually keep sounding until their mute.

Finish V12
Additional step, Smith would make his guitars, resonate is better, adding his "V12" Finish. Finish V12 makes guitars look and stay beautiful and ensures that the guitar is not brand new, but already in the Division. Considered to be, as you have been playing the guitar.

But no more than a V12: provides structural sealant, which does not inhibit the resonance. Many guitars have sealers that from audio wood but V12 is strong enough to protect and continue to allow the guitar resonate as it should. Holds A looking and great sounding.

Multi Switch
All of this would be sufficient, but Smith wider by helping the player get every change that produces a sound. Some guitars PRS have switches switch does not normally found on other guitars. In addition to the normal forward, backward and middle pickup switch, the switch 5-way some models have an additional switch, volume control and tone controls, which provide that little sound Variations to make the guitar virtually play any other market and then some.

One guitar to the Paul Reed Smith is needed to cover the entire spectrum of STRAT Les Paul.
